Our work with the Local Bar

We work hard to get the word out about our government funded family information and mediation services. Here is a summary of some of what we did last quarter.

Hilary Linton was very busy this last quarter sharing her expertise on the mediation process. She presented at the Ontario Bar Association on the topic of Mediation Confidentiality. Her presentation was well attended and included a discussion of the difference between open and closed mediation in the court connected context.

Hilary also spoke at the 311 Jarvis Open Bar program, about safety precautions family lawyers and their staff can take for themselves and their clients.

Privacy and confidentiality are very important to the mediation process. Hilary presented to members of the legal and mediation communities at an OAFM webinar on the topic of mediation confidentiality. Her talk included discussion of open and closed mediation in the court connected context and the MAG mediation agreement terms.

“I have sent many clients to Mediate393 as the services they provide are thoughtful, comprehensive, and affordable. Many of my clients who have engaged in mediation at Mediate393 say they have left the process feeling in a better place about [and in more control of] their agreed-upon decisions. This organization is a tremendous asset to the family law community.”
